God, I am far to influenced by what others think of me. I am always either trying to be nicer, richer or smarter than I really am. Keep me from gloating over praise on the one hand or from being discouraged by criticism on the other. Save me from weaving imaginary situations in which the most charming witty person present is myself.
Teach me to be humble of heart like you.
